History 2004 -
In the early part of 2004 the club was put up for sale. Richard Stockdale came to see it. He had viewed a number of courses and, as he now recalls, decided almost on sight that the club was right for him, an ideal golfing setting in which he can indulge in his passion for golf, and where the pace of life is a delight.
Since Richard took over membership has grown. The course has had a facelift with its greens restored and some modest redesigning of certain holes. A new club constitution was drafted and the Executive Committee holds regular meetings to discuss competition, course and house and social matters. There are sub-committees for course, house, competition and course matters.
The most obvious change since 2004 has been the gradual emergence of the new clubhouse, scheduled to be open for business in 2007.
