Directions

We are situated just out of the centre of Dolgellau town on Pen Y Cefn and signposted from the main road across the town bridge ( Turn left and first right up the steep hill). Our postcode is LL40-2ES if you use location identifying software.

From the North of England, take the M6 South turning on to the M56 for Chester And North Wales just after the Thelwall viaduct. Take the M53 until you turn off for Corwen, next juntion after the B5104. Head for Bala. From Bala head for Dolgellau. Turn right for Dolgellau, but keep above the town and turn right after passing the town bridge ( You can't miss it)

From the South of England, take M6, then M54 ( or A5) to Shrewsbury, follow the Shrewsbury ring road all the way round and either
a) turn left and head for Mid-Wales, Welshpool and then Dolgellau, this time going through the town to turn left and right or
b) keep going on to Llangollen, then pick up Corwen and Bala.

Information

Dolgellau is an excellent centre for golfing, walking and touring holidays. Cader Idris offers a moderate 2- 4 hour walk to its summit. In May annually there is a race! Dolgellau hosts the annual Session Fawr music event in the summer. Nearby Barmouth has its own summer festival.

If golf is your pleasure then many golf course are in close proximity, the nearest at Harlech, Aberdovey, Criccieth, Porthmadog and Macchynleth. There are short courses at Fairbourne and Capel Bangor near Aberystwyth.
