We  will begin using the 2008 table fixtures for linking our results from January. In the meantime congratulations are due to:

Eddie Atherton who defeated Roy Evans in the final of the Gwynne Jones Goblets ( Men’s knockout singles.) He takes his place in the 2007 roll of honour alongside Mary Roberts who had won the ladies knockout earlier.

The winners of Winter League Rd 1, Stephen and Peter Mumford who with 49 pts came in first place ahead of Ruth Parry and Ian Palterman ( 46pts) and R.G Edwards and Tom Cook (44pts)

Jonathan and John Lloyd, the winners of winter League Rd 2 with a combined score of 129 from David Thompson and Kevin Griffifths (136) and John Meredith and Gwilym Guest (136)

Jonathan Lloyd, Steve Gregory and Rudi Kojs who led the Men’s Turkey trot Medal with nett scores of 58, 59 and 60 respectively and their ladies’ counterparts Stephanie Robertson, Ruth Parry and Carol Clay with 38, 35 and 24 Stableford points

Steve Gregory, Peter Mumford and Stephen Mumford who led the November Men’s Monthly Competition with nett scores of 60, 65 and 66 respectively and

Stephanie Robertson who won the Ladies’ Monthly Medal from Ruth Parry on a card countback on the back 9 holes after both had carded nett 67s.
